Kitchen Tonic is a registered training centre with The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and delivers high-quality food hygiene, Health & Safety, HACCP, allergen, COSHH and nutrition training courses for individuals, groups and companies working within the food industry. Due to customer demand, we introduced COSHH and health and safety courses in July 2015. Kitchen Tonic was recently audited by and received conformation from the CIEH that we are fully compliant with the CIEH procedures for training in the UK. We are considered an excellent training centre.

The CIEH is a brand leader of OFQUAL regulated training and the professional voice of Environmental Health. The CIEH sets the standards and accredits training for the education of EHO's/EHP's.

Kitchen Tonic trainers are registered with the CIEH and have several years of experience in the food industry; working in the public and private sectors, fast food chains and independent shops, logistics, retail and restaurants as food safety consultants, trainers and auditors. Our trainers are not only trainers, they are practitioners. That means our trainers continuously update their skills and knowledge to ensure that each candidate and our clients receive up-to-date information and advice. Our lead trainer is a nutrition and food science graduate and an Accredited Associate member of the CIEH and an affiliate member of TIFSIP (The Institute of Food Safety, Integrity and Protection).

Kitchen Tonic is dedicated to improve safety standards and strives to deliver high quality interactive and appealing training. If requested, we can provide a customised service for you, your company and your staff training needs. We can provide training for new members of staff such as induction training and refresher training when needed. Our trainers can come to you and deliver training on-site at your venue.

Our courses are cost effective, flexible and catered to suit your needs as a client. We have provided training to logistic companies, caretakers, chefs, cooks, gastro pubs, nannies, farms, community groups, pop-ups, retailers, butchers, charities, private chefs to celebrities, high street restaurants, food and drink manufacturers, food packaging manufacturers and many more.  We also work with adult education centres in London providing trainers for their food hygiene courses and other CIEH registered centres.

Kitchen Tonic aims to inspire and develop staff providing them the skills and knowledge to carry out their daily tasks. We work with our clients to allow greater choice to accomodate training. We offer training 24/7. Training can be split in to smaller sessions if preferred. 

We offer a price promise on our very competative rates on CIEH courses in London. Terms and conditions apply. Our courses are VAT exempt. All prices include exam fees, course book (for some courses) and CIEH certificate on passing. Trainer travel fees may apply when we come to your premises, if located outside London. Most areas of the UK and EU are considered. 

Kitchen Tonic can provide bespoke unaccredited courses which can be a cheaper option. Candidates are issued with certificates. If you need guidance in choosing a food safety related course for your place of work, contact us and we help you to decide which training course/s match your needs. 

We have a very high pass rate on all our courses. Candidate numbers are small at our open courses run at out venue, making sure you achieve the most out of training.  When certificates arrive to us from the CIEH, we will post them to you within 5-10 days. You also have the option to come back and pick up your certificate in person.
