This Level 3 Food Safety Supervision for Manufacturing is regulated in England by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual). The course provides a thorough understanding of food safety and food hygiene procedures emphasising the importance of monitoring staff and controls.

 

Who needs this qualification?

This qualification is primarily aimed at supervisors/junior managers working within the food manufacturing industry, but will also be of benefit to caterers and retailers.

 

Why is this training important?

Anyone working in a supervisory position in the food business is not only responsible but also accountable for food safety. It is therefore vital they are equipped with both the knowledge and confidence to do their job effectively.
