Course details

  • Duration: Three days (typically 9:00am-17:00)

  • Ofqual Qualification Number: 603/3653/5

  • Recommended prior learning: Ideally trained to a min Level 3 in food safety 

  • Assessment: 30 question multiple-choice examination (catering and manufacturing exam paper options available)

Course Overview:

1.Understand the requirements for HACCP, by being able to:

  • Identify the importance of HACCP based food safety management procedures

  • Know the preliminary processes for HACCP

  • Identify the role of the HACCP team member

 

2. Understand the practical application of HACCP principles, by being able to:

  • Know how a HACCP plan is developed using the Codex principles

  • Know how HACCP plans are implemented, validated, verified, maintained and documented 

Course Trainer

Your HACCP Trainer: 

  • Has been delivering HACCP training courses for over 15 years. Delivered training for Westminster Adult Education (WEAS) for over 8yrs, delivers training at Food and Drink Manufacturing sites and Catering businesses. 

  • An international Food Safety Auditor for Ecolab for over 10 years

  • Advises food businesses on how to achieve better Food Hygiene Ratings

  • Writes bespoke HACCP plans and develops food safety policies for food businesses. 

  • Holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in a Food Science and Nutrition related subjects and Level 4 in Food Safety and previously worked in the NHS.

On-site HACCP training - we come to your business location

  • Cost £800 plus £90pp, includes exam RSPH HACCP exam fees and course material.

  • Can be delivered over 2 or 3 days. 

  • Group discount, book 9 or more candidates on the same course and receive 10% discount. 

  • Courses delivered nationwide.

  • Trainer travel fees might be applicable depending on your business location. 

  • We have delivered this HACCP course at breweries, distillers, bakeries, bread factories, noodle factories, meat plants, butchers, fisheries, hotels, restaurants, department stores, care settings and more.

Public courses @ Kitchen Tonic Online Webinar

  • We run public HACCP courses online (via live video conferencing platforms) for anyone to attend. 

  • Cost £280pp, includes exam fees. Special offer was £400pp

  • All course material will be printed and posted to you, before the start of the course. 

  • Exam is taken at our venue in London. The exam will be scheduled usually within a few days of finishing the course.
