Course information:

  • Duration: one-day typically 09:30-17:00 

  • For training at a food business, we can start training earlier than 09:00. 

  • Assessment method: Multiple-choice examination (20 questions) (catering and manufacturing options)

  • Ofqual qualification number: 603/3652/3

  • Pre-requisite: None, however it is best to have knowledge in food safety before taking this course

  • Recommended progression: Level 3 HACCP

Course Trainer

Your HACCP Trainer: 

  • Has been delivering training courses for over 15 years. Delivered training for Westminster Adult Education (WEAS) for over 8yrs and other culinary colleges and local authorities in London.

  • An international Food Safety Auditor for Ecolab for over 10 years

  • Advises food businesses on how to achieve better Food Hygiene Ratings

  • Writes bespoke HACCP plans and develops food safety policies for food businesses. 

  • Holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in a Food Science and Nutrition related subjects and Level 4 in Food Safety and previously worked in the NHS.

  • Holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Food Science and a related degree, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Nutrition.

Course Types

On-site HACCP training - we come to your business location. 

  • If you wish to have this HACCP course delivered on-site at your business location, please get in touch to discuss your specific needs and secure your booking.

  • Although our base is in London, we deliver training throughout England. Please be aware that trainer travel fees may be applicable.

  • Cost: £250 plus £30 per participant, inclusive of exam fees. We can train up to 20 candidates per session.

  • Special offer : Previously £300 plus £30 per participant.

  • All our courses are VAT exempt.

Public courses HACCP with Kitchen Tonic (remote online webinar training)

  • We run HACCP public courses via online video conferencing platforms for anyone to attend Resources you will need for this course will be emailed to you to print. If you don't have a printer, we can post the resources to you for a small postage fee. 

  • Individuals looking to do this course, please call or email to book

  • Cost £50pp, includes exam fees. (was £110pp)

  • Next course 20th March 2025

  • One day training course online, live with the trainer. Exam is scheduled on a separate day in central London. You will need to factor in about one hour to sit your exam.
