How much does the Business Portal cost?+

The portal is free to join, with unlimited seats and unlimited sites on every plan, alongside the Compliance Dashboard, Incident Log, Resource Hub, Training Calendar, and group bookings. The Free tier includes volume bulk discounts on courses (up to 20% off). Starter (£19/month, 12-month contract) adds 10% off all courses plus 5% off consulting. Professional (£79/month, 12-month contract) gives 15% off courses, 10% off consulting, and phone support. On paid plans you pay the better of your plan discount or the course’s bulk discount, never both. Enterprise is custom-priced with a dedicated account manager, Okta / SSO and SCIM directory sync, multi-region failover, and advanced support.

What does the Compliance Dashboard actually track?+

The dashboard gives your business a live compliance score derived from staff certification status, certificate expiry dates, training completion rates, weekly quiz participation, logged compliance events, and open incidents. It tracks events per site so multi-location businesses can see where issues are concentrated, and links directly to EHO Inspection Prep for a pre-visit readiness check.

How do bulk training discounts work?+

Purchase 5–10 seats and save 10%, 11–20 seats for 15% off, or 21+ seats for 20% off. Discounts apply automatically at checkout and are available on every plan including Free. If you are on a paid plan (Starter 10%, Professional 15%), you pay the better of your plan discount or this bulk discount on each order, whichever saves more, never both stacked. Separately, businesses that purchase 2 or more courses unlock the loyalty programme, starting at Bronze (10% off consulting) and rising to Platinum (25% off plus custom training and quarterly reviews).

How do group training bookings work?+

From Training Bookings in the portal, you can request a group session for any RSPH-accredited course, specify your preferred dates, choose on-site or webinar delivery, and assign team members as participants. Kitchen Tonic will confirm an available session, you will be notified by email and can confirm within the portal. All confirmed bookings appear on your Training Calendar.

Is Kitchen Tonic accredited?+

Yes. Our courses are accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH), an Ofqual-regulated awarding organisation. Qualifications are recognised by Environmental Health Officers and meet the requirements of the Food Safety Act 1990, Regulation (EC) No 852/2004, and the Food Hygiene Regulations 2006.

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?+

The Free tier has no contract, use it indefinitely. Starter and Professional plans run on 12-month contracts. You can upgrade at any time and manage your plan from the Billing section of the portal. If you have questions about your plan, get in touch and we will respond within 1 business day.
